Virtual Reality (VR) projects digital information only as it minimizes or eliminates your view of your physical surroundings. VR hardware devices typically include head-mounted displays such as the Oculus Quest.

Extended Reality (XR) and Mixed Reality (MR) describe interactions with physical and digital environments concurrently. XR and MR are interchangeable elastic terms that represent all technologies available that engage your senses (including AR and VR).
