3D Design

ANSYS 19 offers real-time simulation with a new 3D Design family of products that includes ANSYS Discovery Live, ANSYS Discovery AIM, and ANSYS Discovery SpaceClaim. These products empower designers and engineers to further explore their designs and concepts in greater depth, before validation through ANSYS flagship products. These products incorporate rapid CAD modeling capabilities through Discovery SpaceClaim and easy-to-use engineering simulation through Discovery Live and Discovery AIM.

ANSYS is dedicated to an accurate, automated, easy-to-use, multiphysics, and multi-technology-based workflow in their new release. ANSYS 19 new features include radar cross section analysis, integrated electro-thermal analysis, an innovative electric machine design kit and an enhanced user experience with electromagnetic field simulation tools. The software allows for the ability to simulate behavior of materials, automate the design flow for electronics and electrical applications, understand the temperature and structural effects on electrics systems and understand how components are powered and how power demands affect performance.

Embedded Software

ANSYS 19 delivers powerful capabilities for workflow integration, safety-critical embedded systems design, functional safety analysis, performance and usability, and multi-rate applications for design. The software includes fully certified embedded software and human machine interface (HMI) design capabilities, and dedicated solutions for automotive and avionics systems and software. This release enhances HMI design capabilities that comply with ARINC 661 and are qualifiable for ISO 26262 and DO-178C. For avionics systems and automotive developers, release 19 incorporates architecture analysis and design language model-based system design.

Reduce simulation time from days to a few hours with the ANSYS 19 big data-enabled simulation platform and prioritize design fixes with its actionable analytics. Identify critical power hotspots and cycles early in the design flow for the robust power and thermal design of the chip, package and system. This high-performance software solves for various design attributes such as power noise, thermal properties, reliability and performance across the spectrum of chip, package and system to accelerate your product success.

The new release is now more powerful with new capabilities and upgrades to boost existing analysis functionality. The new release gives users that perform structural analysis faster access to solvers and increased availability of high performance computing cores with ANSYS Mechanical Pro, ANSYS Mechanical Premium and ANSYS Mechanical Enterprise licenses. ANSYS 19 increases productivity for designers and engineers in all industries with improved user experience and advanced functionality.

ANSYS 19 delivers powerful capabilities in systems simulation for battery management design and deployment, and functional safety analysis for all safety-critical industries. Designers and engineers can easily model the entire design of a battery management system, from the 3D physics to the embedded software. ANSYS Simplorer allows capabilities to simulate and test the entire system. With the new release, users can access functional safety analysis across industries. ANSYS Medini Analyze can be utilized for applications outside of automotive, including aerospace and defense, rail, nuclear and other safety-critical industries by profiles to adapt to specific industry safety standards.
